hollow
There is a lot of emptiness when you grow older, it feels a little bit like driving on a great stretch of road when suddenly you become unsure of whether it is the right road to begin with. The enormous problem then is that the road behind you seemingly collapses with every turn of the wheels with every inch that the gas pedal is pressed. It is a sense of incredible frustration followed by the complete feeling of helplessness. But the worse part of it all are the innumerable number of turnings you missed out or decided against in your long and winding journey. What if the choices you have made are simply wrong? What if you are on the wrong road?
